Caledonian Construction are recruiting for a QA Officer.

Our client is a market leading carpentry contractor and due to continued growth, they are recruiting for a QA Officer. This position would suit an individual who is able to communicate effectively with everyone from the operatives on site to the Directors in the office.

Our client works widely in the New Build Residential space offering their clients with Design Solutions Internal and External Carpentry Services and Bespoke Joinery. The successful QA Officer will be work with the entirety of the company to take ownership of QA Procedures and Systems.

The successful QA Officer will be audited twice per year. In line with the Q Mark Accreditation which the company will provide you with.  

The client’s area of operation is between Farnham and Epping, this includes everything in between as well and the south. There will be some home working available following a successfully passed probation period.

This position is ideally suited to an individual who is very logical, and process driven with a proven history in this type of working.

The successful QA Officer will very quickly become an integral part of this company assuming responsibility currently overseen by the Operations Manager and shared with other staff members.

With most of this role consisting of collating and filing information in an easy to access method prior experience within the construction industry is a must have.

Hours of work for this role are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5pm

The successful QA Officer will be responsible for

  • Undertaking training for Q Mark Accreditation
  • Being Audited 2X per year
  • Collating/pulling together information in an easy to access fashion to present to management and the client
  • Assume responsibility for the companies QA Specifically in line with the Q Mark Accreditation
  • Create and deliver internal training to members of staff at all levels

For this role it is imperative that you have a keen eye for detail, take pride in a good quality of work, can modify existing systems, and introduce new ones to ensure continual smooth running of the company.
