Caledonian Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join our client Manufacturing team.
Salary £33000 – £35000 | Location West Moseley | Must live within daily commutable distance.
The Successful Purchasing Manager will plan, organise and control the purchase of goods and services to support the factory operations.
The Purchasing Manager will ensure Material Supply continuity and Maintenance to support production output, plan inventory levels to budget levels and remedy vendor supply & quality gaps.
The Purchasing Manager will :
- Have a strong demonstrable background with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) with high output performance
- Have a proven track record in customer relations
- Be confident through prior experience with complete fiscal responsibility
- Have a degree in business or a related field
- Have previous experience as a Purchasing Manager
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- be a strong and critical thinker with good negotiation skills
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
