We are currently seeking fully skilled and experienced HGV Mechanics / PSV Technicians / Bus Mechanics in the South Mimms, Greater London area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an extremely reputable company who invest heavily in their engineers, providing them with ongoing training to keep them up to date with the latest technology.
This role will involve working within an advanced workshop with excellent working conditions. You will have at least 3 years’ experience as either a HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician and hold a recognised Level 3 qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Full Apprenticeship).
General duties for this HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician role include:
- Heavy Vehicle Inspections
- Running Defects
- Servicing, Maintenance & Repair
- Pre-MOT Preparation
- Engine & Gearbox Repairs & Overhauls
- Complete all the relevant paperwork to a high standard
This position pays a basic hourly rate of £20.45 with potential opportunity to increase to £24.00 per hour (Grade 3 Engineer) after 12 months with the business. You will be required to work a mixture of both early and late shifts working any 5 days in 7.
